- FIU Customer Service Training "Customer and you" provided by UNIDAD of Miami Beach will be on January 27, 2012 in Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce located at 1920 Meridian Av. Miami Beach FL 33141, from 8:45 AM to 1:00 pm. Please make reservation to (305) 867-0051. Training is Free and you get a certification from FIU Hospitality.

   

- Free Legal Services- Probono Clinic will be on: February 1st, 2012 call UNIDAD of Miami Beach SCSEP for more information.

- AARP Safety Driving Classes every Second Wednesdays of each Month in Spanish and the fourth Wednesdays in English. Remember these course can help you to reduce your insurance to a 20%.

For all the Participants and Host Agencies: 

 According to the US Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration informed UNIDAD of Miami Beach that the minimal wage will be effective from January 1^st, 2012. UNIDAD of Miami Beach SCSEP program made the regulation effective since January 1^st -2012 to meet the government regulations. The federal minimum wage increases to $7.67 per hour. This change reflects final federal minimum wage increase as amended under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

UNIDAD of Miami Beach SCSEP Program (Coral house) will be closed on Monday January 16, 2012 in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
